NO STUDS! NO-SMOKING! NO DRINKING ALCOHOL! This is a perfect home for your horses / animals. They will be your full responsibility. This is a great place to call home! There are five stalls within the fully enclosed barn and three stalls in the second barn, a tack room with concrete floors and built in cabinet, counter top, saddle/blanket racks, halter and bridle racks, extra racks for lead lines etc. The property is crossed fenced with gates to sections off as needed.

This is a perfect place for your horse(s)/animals in beautiful Rockwall, Texas.

We live here on the property at the front, and we are on a private road, no through traffic. It is very quiet, safe and a great place for your animals to live. We do not have specific hours set unless abused. You are welcome to visit/ride as you would like.

Mitchell's feed store within 15 minutes from our home, and Tractor Supply around 15 minutes away. There are many vets nearby. We have one wonderful barn cats "Picasso", we have chickens, one mini-mule "Donut", and four goats. These animal are will not be in your part of the pasture. There is a tack room in front barn, and the back barn has space in the shop area.

We have four pygmy goats (Lottie Da, Bluebonnet, Daisy and Gypsy).

Coggins needed, all animals will need to be de-wormed on a schedule and shot will need to be kept up to date while on property. If you decide that this is the perfect place for your horses/animals, the monthly payment is due on the first day of each month plus water and electricity will be divided as needed per animals. There is hay storage and storage for two trailers. You will need to sign a lease contract, first month’s rent will be due (prorate if moved in during initial month and a deposit of $200 (non-refundable) will be due. Black Star Sport Horses is now located in Rockwall, Texas. Black Star is primarily a dressage barn. Although everyone is welcome. We have rolling hills and a lot of turnouts, for individual and semiindividual. Black Star has two barns, the largest privately owned indoor arena in the state of Texas. JR Stables is owned and operated by John and Rosie Bankston and have been at this locaton for 37 years. JR Stables is a full care only horse boarding facility convenientlly located 15 minutes from downtown Dallas half mile off I-20 and withhin 15 minutes of the future "Texas Horse Park" a 500 acre plus locaton with trails for horse back riding and
will be part of the 6,000 acre Great Trinity Forest with trails for riding. Our boarders can
also enjoy riding wooded trails here at JR Stables. Our barn has 12x12 stalls with individual partially covered runs. Each stall has a personal tack compartment with saddle rack and bridle holders. Stalls and runs are cleaned daily. There is a lounge and rest room in the barn. Our arena is a 120x240 ft. open sand arena, round pen, pipe fencing, was rack, salt blocks in each stall, several hitching posts to tie up, free trailor parking for our boarders. Horses are grained twice a day and are hayed three times a day when they are in the barn for the day. Round bales are available in pastures year round. Horses are turned out daily excluding weekends and with weather permitting. We do not and will not stall a horse 24-7 here at JR Stables. Mares and geldings are turned out in separate pastures. We have vets on call and they come out in the Spring and Fall to vaccinate and for yearly checkups. Farriers are available to shoe and trim on a regular schedule. Julie has been teaching horseback riding for over 25 years right here in Arlington, Texas to riders of every age and skill set. She has personally trained all of her horses, each of them tailored to meet the
needs of an advancing rider. Whether the student wishes to practice dressage, hunter jumper,
jumping, or just simply go for a trail ride, a well behaved and prepared horse is available. Julie's great breadth of experience with riders young and old has helped propel several of her students to decorated careers in their equestrian pursuits. Dressage being her personal passion, she has been training and competitive in the sport for over 35 years. Working with top level international trainers and having placed in third level dressage competitions, it is hard to imagine a more qualified instructor. Helping the rider become one with the horse and using your body to facilitate the movements are the core values she tries to instill in each of her students. Her services are available for lessons on a weekly or bi-weekly basis, and she also has ponies that work great for birthday parties.

All of her lessons are conducted onsite at her facility in Arlington, Texas. She has barrels, cones, jumps and lights (for night time riding during the summer) on 3 acres right in South Arlington near Stovall Park. We are 5 minutes from James Booth Cow Horses. There is quick access to I-20, HWY 1187 and I-35W. Easily serving Kennedale, Arlington, Mansfield, Ft. Worth, Burleson, Pantego.

We are too far south to serve Keller, Bedford, Watugua or North Tarrant County due to the freeway systems and traffic.

There are three (3) excellent veterinary providers within minutes of our barn.

Reliable, local Farrier.

Boarders are welcome to use any provider with whom they already contract. We do not restrict these relationships.

Horses without proof of current negative Coggins will not be admitted to the property.

We cannot accommodate Stallions, Pregnant Mares, Yearlings or Untrained horses. We handle the horses daily in group settings, they must be civilized to be here.
