We are a full care horse boarding facility located just 20 minutes from Killeen, and 40 minutes from Austin.

We have 16 stalls inside the barn that are either 12' X 24' or 12' X 54'. All the stalls are sand, and there is a fly spray system throughout the barn and over each stall.

We have 11 outside stalls that are each 50' X 75' with a 12' X 12' shelter.

Pasture board is 250 a month and all horses in the pastures eat oats and hay twice a day.

Inside and outside stall are 300 a month, you provide feed we provide hay, 330 a month for oats and hay, and 350 a month for pellets and hay.

All horses are fed twice daily. Inside stalls are cleaned twice a day and outside stalls are cleaned once a week.

We have a 150' X 300' all sand speed roping area with lights, a wash rack and vet area with lights, a concrete farrier pad, covered picnic area, horse walker, 2 tack rooms, a 60 foot sand round pen with lights and a 9 acre pasture you can ride in.

Rio Vista Hunter-Jumper Stable:

Stall Board with lessons: $635 month includes 2 Group lessons per week on your horse. Individual Tack locker. Every other day turnout ( Daily 7x week turnout available for additional $40). And of course, twice daily stall cleaning, twice daily feeding, and supplement feeding included (boarders to provide desired supplements). All stalls equipped with automatic fly spray system.

Paddock Board with lessons: $545 month includes 2 Group lessons per week on your horse. Individual Tack locker. Sunday turnout. Paddock horses are fed on the same program as the stalled horses.

Full Training: $850 includes all weekly rides, does not include lessons. Twice daily hay & grain, turnout every other day, twice daily stall cleaning, fly spray system.

Rio Vista Open Boarding Stable:

Rio Vista has a separate facility on the same site that we call The Breeding Farm. The breeding farm houses our sport-horse breeding program along with boarding outside broodmares, foals, mares in foal, retirees, pleasure riders and dressage riders. The HCF facility is located on our 45 acres in the Texas hill country located just 6 miles north of Wimberley.We are 25 minutes from Austin , San Marcos, Buda, Dripping Springs and Kyle. HCF offers an after school horseback riding lesson program for both kids and adults from September through May every year. We offer summer day camp and overnight camps from May though August.
