We are very excited to welcome you to our facility and be able to share it with you. Lucky Star Farm was founded in 2021, but our dream for a barn of our own, started a long time before that. Your horse will be cared for just like we want our horses to be cared for. Our goal is to provide an environment that allows you and your horse to excel.

Full care board includes:

Feeding good quality coastal hay up to four times daily
Triple Crown grain fed twice daily, and tailored to individual needs
Two water buckets in every stall
Deeply bedded stalls with shavings
Stalls cleaned twice daily when inside
Feed through fly control in spring, summer and fall
Blanketing as appropriate for individual horse and weather conditions
Daily turn out in individual or small group paddocks (weather permitting)
Incredibly safe fencing of paddocks
Picking hooves when bringing in from turn out
Daily overall wellness checks
Use of indoor/covered arena with lights and custom footing by Premier Equestrian
Daily night check
Barn staff lives on site

Berndt von Hassler is operating his dressage training business at Lucky Star Farm and they have many training options available, from lessons to partial to full training. Berndt is a Grand Prix dressage trainer, German Master Professional Rider, Trainer and Instructor, along with Bronze, Silver and Gold medalist with the USDF. Berndt has managed riding stables for over 35 years.

I have experience with several different breeds of horses: friesians, quarter horses, thoroughbreds, Arabians, Tennessee walkers, cross breeds. I give lessons at round about stables. I offer beginner to advanced lessons, in basic riding, being a good leader, etc. I also offer coaching for you and your barrel horse or just in general ie you and your horses relationship, working with your leadership skills, understanding your horse better, bonding exercises, etc. I offer tune ups and exercise programs on all ages and breeds of horses and I travel to you or you can board here at round about stables. I offer some basic training programs which include ground manners, behavioral problems, starting a horse in the saddle or on the ground, etc. I do western and english. I compete in barrels and will start competing in show jumping this summer. I train my own horses and take a few English lessons from another instructor at round about. I also offer feeding/grooming/care for your horses or dogs, whatever, while you are out of town or just need/want help. I will begin to be available when I come home from college on May 7. I also have some experience with wild/untamed horses. I train quietly and use a type of natural horse method, I listen and try to understand the horse best I can and am not quick to anger. I don't use force but am a firm confident leader that horses seem to appreciate. Corner Hill Stables is a community-oriented equistrian facility. We focus on English Riding Lessons and offer full-service Boarding as well as horse lease, horse camp, and much more!

We have a 21 stall barn, or for the person that prefers their horse to be outside, we have 9 independent barns with paddocks. There are two large arenas, both have lights for riding in the evening, one round pen and a parcel of land with a jump ring, dressage arena, small cross country fences and bridle paths for trail riding.

The Jump Field, has a grove of old oak trees and pecan trees at it's north end and is a great place to take a leisurely walk with your horse. There is also a bridle path, provided for our boarders and their horses, off to the east side accessible by a passageway built under Jupiter Road. Hudson Heritage is a full care boarding and event center located in Rio Vista Texas, just 55 minutes south of Will Rogers Event Center in Fort Worth. We provide a full western horse environment with an emphasis on Reining, and Cow Horse disciplines. With a complete indoor and well lit environment available 7 days a week, it is our sincerest goal and hope to provide a place where the active riding horse owner can enjoy their best friend in comfort. We have heated water in the double indoor wash racks, individual lockers at each stall, lockers for wash rack items, as well as a conveniently located tack room with saddle and bridle racks. Our Ranch offers horse boarding and horse care for a few special horses.
Our horses enjoy the natural setting of the ranch and are allowed to
socialize with other horses in a pasture setting which is closer to their
natural state and is better on their emotional make-up. We do not lock our
horses away in stalls, but believe horses should be allowed to choose to
graze out in the open or have the option to rest under shelter.
