Silver Lake Ranch offers full care stall ($325) and pasture ($200) boarding available between Mineola and Grand Saline as well as self care stall ($175) and pasture ($100/$150) options. We are located 15 minutes from I-20 on Hwy 80. Our barn has beautiful 10 x 12 stalls with concrete floors and mats, fans and auto-waters. Daily turn-out with premium feeds and hay fed twice daily. Stalls cleaned daily, twice if weather does not permit turnout. Turn-out into 5-7 acre pastures seeded for year-round grass with shelters in small groups (2-3 horses). Facility amenities include 10 miles of trails, open 200 by 130 ft arena, outdoor 200 by 200 ft arena, 40 ft round pen by arena, lighted round pen by barn, wash rack and tack room. Trailer parking and blanketing available. Ask use about specialty packages for Mare and Foal Care, Retirement Care and Injury Care. Multi-Horse discounts available for full care boarding. Golden Curls Ranch, an equestrian riding facility is pleased to introduce you to American Curly and Curly Mustang horses. Theses horses are known to be hypo-allergic. This allows riders with allergies to enjoy time in the saddle with little to no allergenic reaction.

We ride both Western and English disciplines and teach riding lessons in trail,Western Pleasure, Equitation, Pole Bending and Barrel Racing. We also train horses for all riding disciplines and offer packages that include training for the rider with their horse. We specialize in training horses with that need the opportunity to be their best and are comfortable with Mustangs and horses others have had little success training. Large covered idoor arena complete with Big Ass fans, large 200x300 outdoor arena under lights with viewing stand for shows. We have 4 different barns with different options for boarding. Deluxe boarding facility in a park like setting. Huge oak trees surround the facility with an intoxicating canopy of green. KB Ranch is minutes away from Lake Ray Roberts state parks that provide miles of trails and camping.
The main barn is a concrete 44 stall facility, with huge windows and skylights. 12 x 12 stalls and 12X16 stalls in the main barn. The new show barn has 10 12X16 stalls and 7 10X12 stalls available. Pasture care is also available. All stalls are cleaned twice daily and fresh shavings are added twice a week to keep the stalls bedded deep. Barn aisles are swept morning and evening. We also blanket and un-blanket with the weather and timed lights available if you are hauling show horses. We feed only the best coastal hay, premium alfalfa, and oats crimped fresh daily. We will feed your personal feed or supplements at no extra cost if you supply them.
The covered arena is 125 x 225 (125x150 is covered), with sound and lights and new arena mirrors. We also have two outdoor arenas with excellent footing. The arenas are watered and worked every morning, 7 days a week. Jumps and trail course obstacles are available for use. All horses are turned out daily in either individual turnouts or small groups and a hot walker is available. We have western and dressage and jumping trainers available for lessons or horse training. . We are open 7 days a week, and only ask that our visitors leave by 10 p.m., so the barn can sleep. You are welcome as early as you wish in the morning. We feed at 6 a.m. and groom arena at 7 a.m
Owners live above the main barn so horses receive 24 hr care. We are lifelong horsemen, caring for your horse is not a hobby, it is our life. Kristin has her Bachelors Degree from Texas A&M in Animal Science specializing in equine management, training, and reproduction. Kristin also has years of experience as a large animal Vet Tech.
