Horse Boarding in Paris, Kentucky (Bourbon County)

WANAJA FARM is located along a beautiful scenic route in Oldham County, Kentucky in the heart of historic countryside. We are a state-of-the-art boarding and training facility, primarily for the discipline of dressage, but welcome other disciplines, as well. We offer riding lessons at all levels and for all ages.

WANAJA FARM has two new barns, and good fencing. The training barn has 17 matted 12'x12' stalls, a heated/air conditioned viewing room with microwave, refrigerator and freezer, a laundry room, wash rack with hot and cold water, feed room, two tack rooms, and a heated bathroom/changing room. In addition, the training barn has a 156'x72' indoor riding arena for year-round training and vaulted ceilings for jumping horses.

The smaller barn has 12 12'x12' matted stalls and is just a short jaunt from the indoor arena and full-size outdoor arena. There is also a breaking pen at this barn where young horses are broken by Wanaja Farm professionals.... See More

Are you looking for a more natural self-care boarding situation for your horse, but not full pasture board? We are a small horse boarding farm on a scenic 20-acre property in the Fern Creek/Floyds Fork area in Louisville. All horses have access to stalls in a barn that open onto state-of-the-art dry-lots. Daily turn out in grass paddocks alone or with other horses as weather, pasture condition and the horse's needs allow. The dry-lots allow horses to be outdoors as much as they want and be more sociable and mobile rather than standing in stalls most of the time. Stalls have rubber mats and electricity for fans in summer and heated buckets in winter. There is storage for tack, feed, hay and space for trailer parking.

120' x 60' outdoor arena, round pen, trail obstacles for training and a trail around the fields and through woodlands on the property. We work cooperatively with horse owners for happy, healthy horses and provide an alternative for owners who prefer that their horses are not confined to a stall most of the time. We use fly predators and slow-feeder hay nets. We currently have openings for two horses. Spring Run Farm is a full service, family oriented and family run, dressage and eventing barn. We have an indoor arena, an outdoor dressage arena, and a lighted, outdoor jumping ring. Terry Thompson Stables (aka Stonelea Farm) offers Full care only, includes personal feeding program, hot/cold wash rack, large matted stall cleaned twice daily, tack room with washer/dryer available for use, personal turnout paddocks, and a whole lot more.
