Shady Hollow Assisted Riding is a non-profit organization offering therapuetic horseback riding to individuals with special needs. Through both assisted lessons and our hippotherapy program, we provide a unique, fun and challenging out door adventure. Shady Hollow also provides lessons for able body individuals, horse boarding and field trip opportunities. WaterGap Stables is a full service facility located on 35 acres. WaterGap has a 200 x 300 outdoor arena and an indoor arena with sand/stonedust footing. WaterGap is open to the public for boarding, lessons and training. We offer training and lessons (group, semi-private and private) in Hunter/jumper, western, saddleseat (English) and driving. We can get your unbroke horse under saddle, fine tune your broke or problem horse or help you finish your own horse. Our clients and their horses bring home Championships in local hunter and dressage shows all the way to "A" rated National competitions. We hold a series of shows at the farm. We are a brand new stable that is growing each year. We currently offer top quality care AND manager lives on the property! Every time we turn out or bring in the horses are checked for injury and we learn what is "normal" for each horse when it comes to behavior, eating and movement. Our boarding plans are set up for every budget from semi-self care to full care stall board. Offering large matted stalls, pastures with grass for small group turn-out, grass dressage ring with letters and flowers set up, grass jump field, intro level cross country obstacles, and large tack room.
