RiverHorse Farm is a family-owned horse boarding and training facility in North Salem, NY that has been run by three generations of the Finlay family for over 25 years.

Our prices include NYS sales tax and are currently:
$1840 per month for stall board (including sales tax)
$1100 per month for pasture board (including sales tax)

RiverHorse offers experienced care by trained equine professionals in a traditional setting. The farm includes stabling for 30 horses in spacious rubber-matted stalls and over 20 turnout paddocks on 50 acres. We take pride in having created a friendly and supportive environment where everyone from casual trail riders to passionate dressage, eventing, or hunter/jumper competitors can enjoy their horses and their sports to the fullest. Situated on rolling North Salem hills and fields only one hour from New York City, the facilities include a gorgeous state-of-the-art covered ring and two outdoor jumping and dressage arenas. Twin Starr Farm is an elite facility in Holmes, New York. This hidden gem is 18 stalls with a dust-free indoor and an outdoor with ESI footing plus an irrigation system. Serenity Farm includes 15 Stall Barn, Newly built Indoor ring with dust free footing, Oversize outdoor ring, Limited Access to walking trails, Wash stall with hot and cold water, Large Grass paddocks, 2 Medical Paddocks & Round pen. The Farm offers the best individualized care for each horse, in a very private setting.
Horses enjoy lush hay throughout the day and night. Quality grains are fed twice or three times a day, as well as any supplements provided by the owners. Daily night check.Horses are turned out all day, 7 days a week, individually or in pairs. The grass paddocks are big and well maintained. Turn out time can be limited to owner and horse preference. Small medical paddocks are available for inclement weather or medical reasons.
The farm is conveniently located by the Westchester/Putnam border, just one mile off the Taconic State Parkway.
