Our facility is situated on 50 rolling acres with 4 spacious center aisle barns, 3 riding arenas (2 large outdoor and 1 covered) and 17 pastures of varying sizes. Additional ammenties include, 35 matted stalls with ceiling fans, lights and windows that open to outside, two bathrooms, one with shower, eight wash racks with hot and cold running water, and a jumping field for lessons. Laguna Farm offers a safe and friendly environment for both horse and rider.

Our on-site Hunter Jumper professional trainer, Krissy Altenburg, provides lesson and training programs to suite your specific needs. She works to develop technical equestrian skills and teach riders to develop respect, discipline and responsibility. Krissy attends a mix of local and “A” rated shows.

Also teaching at Laguna is Dressage trainer Michael Ippolito. He is a classical FEI dressage trainer and competitor who grounds his riding style on European techniques acquired during his training at the Spanish Riding School in Vienna. Spring Lake Farms, is located in historic Covington, Georgia east of Atlanta off Interstate 20 and includes 60 ft board round pen, 100 x 200 riding ring, hot and cold wash rack, tack room and bathroom, safe 2 x 4 horse wire fencing, trailer parking and 21 acres of pasture all for the price of $300 monthly for full board. Our stalls are 11 ft X 13 ft, matted with fans in the hot summertime. We will blanket your horse in the winter if needed. If your horse needs special supplements or smark- paks that is fine too.

We feed alfalfa orchard grass hay from Kentucky and Southern States 10% pellet grain twice daily. The horses are turned out every day weather permitting. We can accommodate as few as 2 horses in one pasture together. We live on the premises and are retired. We have trailer rental so our customers do not have to purchase one of their own. We also have RV hookup for over-nighters.

We are located near many wonderful trail riding facilities such as, International Horse Park in Conyers, Charlie Elliott Game Ranch and trails and Hard Labor Creek State Park. We feed premium feed, soaked if needed, and all the horses get twice daily hands on inspections. Water troughs are checked twice daily, scrubbed as needed, and fresh water is given daily. We are a small 3.5 acre farm hidden in the city of Tucker, GA currently offering boarding for two horses at a rate of $250 per month per horse. This would include hay, up to 3 daily feedings, access to an 80 x 200 ft arena, use of a two horse trailer, and tack space. We have a small pole barn, one main grazing/turnout field, and two smaller fields as well as a back pasture that can be used during the dryer months. Fellow animal companions include 4 goats, 4 ducks, 5 chickens, and two cats all of which are familiar with equines, however we do tend to keep the goats separate from the horses.

The primary persons caring for your horse would be two 17-year-olds who have been around horses for 10 years, fostered two horses for a year and a half, and who currently work with horses at a sanctuary in Snellville.

Yellow River park is 15 minutes away and offers many miles of quiet horse trails. A bit farther away is Conyers Horse Park which has trails that wind through and around their cross country and golf course.

When considering our property for your horse please keep in mind that a majority of our property is considered flood plain, so during the winter we do deal with a lot of mud. Our arena is also bare ground so it may not be a good fit for horses with tender feet.... See More
