Strohfus Stock Farm is a 95 acre horse boarding facility located near Woodbury, Cottage Grove, Afton and Hastings. We are 3 miles south of Afton Alps in Denmark Township overlooking the beautiful St. Croix River Valley.

At Strohfus Stock Farm we pride ourselves on being "Committed to Quality Care". Quite simply, this means that we look upon our customers' horses as if they were our own. We strive to make a safe and enjoyable environment for horses and owners.

In addition to the many facilities available here, we have many unique ways of operating that enable us to be extremely cost efficient. Those efficiencies enable us to pass savings onto our customers. We have a variety of very competitive rates and a billing methodology that we are certain you will like.

We also have Veterinary immunization which is done twice a year. You can utilize our farm vets or your own whichever you prever. Paste dewormming is done every three months and customers have the option of doing this themselves if they prefer.

HHH Ranch is a friendly small barn offering the amenities of a big barn facility including pasture and stall boarding, roomy tack lockers, plenty of trailer storage, a 60' round pen, a gorgeous 66x110 CoverAll building with ag lime base, horse safe fencing, several paddocks and a large dry lot all with shelters, automatic waterers and shelters and cleaned daily. Our 61 acres is divided into 14 pastures and miles of wooded trails w/ a short CMO course. We have a 180 acre farm, we have about 50 head cows, and started boarding horses recently.

We Currently have 3 boarded horses plus our own. (5 total horses)

We will be doing some renovating on fencing in april and will be ready to house up to 4 more horses for outdoor board.

What we have to offer:

- 1 1/2 acre paddock horses share (Will be split into 2 seperate paddocks in early April)
- 2 shelters, (third going up in the spring)
- 4 acre pasture and 6 acre pasture for horses (more acrage we can use as well)
- Tack Room (shared with us and boarders- tack hooks and saddle racks etc.)
- 100' X 150' Outdoor riding arena (gaming equipment provided)
- 50ft Round Pen
- Possible trailer parking

Feeding Schedule:

- winter/early spring feeding = 4X5 round bales of alphalfa grass mix and 1/2 scoop of 12% protein grain daily
- late spring/summer/fall feeding = small square bales of grass mix, plus turnout to pasture. (will feed grain for extra fee this time of year)

There are no extra fees to use our outdoor 60' round pen or outdoor 120' x 75' arena or equipment. We have access to 6 miles of public horse trails and horse-friendly gravel roads, plus the benefit of pasturing near the traffic of Highway 3 to promote traffic safe horses.
