The HCF facility is located on our 45 acres in the Texas hill country located just 6 miles north of Wimberley.We are 25 minutes from Austin , San Marcos, Buda, Dripping Springs and Kyle. HCF offers an after school horseback riding lesson program for both kids and adults from September through May every year. We offer summer day camp and overnight camps from May though August. Our riding program and camps give our students an overall riding knowledge and care of the horse. Our focus is on the Hunter/Jumper style of riding but we also use Dressage, cross country, trail riding, wetern riding and just basic casual riding in our instruction. We have a full boarding facility with access to our 2 arenas , mini cross country course and trails to ride on. Charlie Horse Equestrian Center (CHEC) is a 35 acre facility located just south of downtown Taylor near the intersection of Loop 79 and 95 making it less than 20 minutes from the Hutto exit off SH-130 to the barn. Pasture board with twice daily feeding, a spacious 300 x 120 arena with lights, round pen, wash rack and horse trailer storage available makes CHEC a nicely equipped facility. Our private gated facility is located just west of Austin on 44 acres in between Lakeway and Dripping Springs. Horses have large stalls with 40 foot runs. They are feed two times a day with daily turnout. We have a 250x150 covered arena with lights and rubber footing, an outdoor arena with the same rubber footing, and round pen. We also have wash racks with heated water, and a large tack room. The owner lives on the property and takes great pride in taking care of the horses that are boarded with them. Jeanne Dake who has trained riders in classical dressage from beginners through Grand Prix is training and giving lessons at the barn 6 days a week. We have a very limited amount of boarders in order to maintain a personal and special facility. We offer both Stall and Pasture boarding. Stalls are available on a limited basis. Each stall opens to a large, shared paddock area. The paddock area opens to a 4 acre pasture.

Stall Boarding: $600 per month and includes bedding and unlimited coastal hay.

Pasture Boarding: $400 per month and includes unlimited coastal hay.

Horses have access to shade and fresh water at all times.
