Hickory Ridge Farm will be taking reservations to board starting December 1st. This beautiful facility has it all! Located in Dallastown, PA, conveniently right near I-83 and York County, and walking distance to Spring Valley Park. There are miles of trails throughout the property and surrounding areas, with plans of putting optional cross country fences throughout them in the near future. Huge pastures with mares and geldings separated, and small herd turnout. In the process of designing cross country courses throughout large fields, with fences suited for any level rider/horse. Huge 12x12 and 12x14 matted stalls, two large hot/cold water wash stalls with racks, and very large tack room as a separate building. Tack room has furniture for lounging and a bathroom for only boarders/boarders guests to use at their convenience. The large 100x200 outdoor arena is in the process of being designed/built, and will have a mixture of soft sand/rubber footing. There are multiple farms within walking distance with indoor arenas, for those days the ring is snow covered. Horses will be fed twice daily, with all supplements and medicine administrations, blanketing etc. included in boarding price. With 15+ years of equine experience, your horse will be receiving exceptional care. Still in the process of being built, Hickory Ridge Farm has a lot to offer: Stall care, Field Care, Training Board, on site lesson program(in near future), haul in schooling options etc. Stall care is $390 per month, Field care is $300 per month. Self-Care or Partial Care boarding on 21 acre horse farm. Self-care is just that you provide and do everything for $150 a month. Partial care is where you provide all the supplies (grain, hay, bedding, buckets, etc) and we do all the work (turnout, feed, bring in, water, clean stall, etc) Partial care is $175 a month. Barn and large pasture for your horse - No Boarding Fee (1 horse). We have an extra stall and lots of pasture to share. We are looking for an owner of a nice friendly horse, who needs a safe place to keep their horse. We want someone who is very involved with their horse and wants to visit and interact with their horse daily. In return, we will need you to provide care for your horse and ours when we travel. You will be able to share our barn and pasture at no charge. You provide your own feed, and vet and farrier care. We can share hay expense or you can provide your own. The barn is clean and comfortable, with water, tack room, Safe T electric fencing and stalls that open directly to the pasture, and horses can come and go as they want. Plenty of grass for two horses. We have a friendly 15 year old Thoroughbred mare. Most days we are available and can share/split the care of the horses. However, over the winter and select dates throughout the year when we travel, you must provide care twice each day for both horses.
