At Rhinestar Performance Horses, we are fully dedicated to the horses we train and our equine owners.
We specialize in Western Pleasure training and Natural Horsemanship for serious minded adults, amateur and youth. Our program begins with giving you the tools that bring you respect and trust with your equine partner. One of the most important elements we provide is ground work which teaches respect and helps to create a safe environment. Secondly, we begin the riding process in order to get the horse to move the five main body parts and bring their training up to an intermediate level. Thirdly, we integrate you; giving you the ability to ride and move the five body parts. Finally, we also have the five C’s: building your Confidence, Correct balance, Coordination, Connection between horse and rider, and Communication skills you’ll need to properly ride.
We also work to develop and teach beginners and young children to be safe and confident riders. Our trainers have the background of being in 4-H from a young age to a young adult. We are very aware of the thought processes of children that want to learn and grow in this field. We are fully prepared for children and young adults that want to be able to take it to the next level and those that may even want to become trainers themselves.
We offer starting young horses from the ground up, and will provide the training to make a well broke horse, all the way to a completely finished horse. At Rhinestar, while your horse is in our training program, rest assured that they will receive the best possible care we can offer. We believe that, by treating your horses as athletes, their bodies demand a nutritionally balanced diet as well as a preventive health care program. We offer both nutrition and Chiropractic, Osteopath, Acupuncture and Equine massage from our veterinarian and equine health partners that are the very best in the industry.

Mallory Schneider has an extensive background in dressage, jumping and eventing. As a teenager she competed heavily in jumping and eventing, and in 2007 she switched her focus towards riding dressage professionally. Mallory has been the assistant trainer to the legendary Gail Hoff-Carmona of Los Alamos Dressage Center for the past four years, in which she continues her education daily.



Mallory has her USDF bronze medal and in 2009 showed the five year old Lusitano gelding, Zambo and won the United States Dressage Federation All Breed Horse of the Year Award for Pure Andalusian and Lusitano Horses at Training Level (67.306%) and placed 2nd at First Level (64.369%). Mallory continues to compete in dressage competitions all over Southern California. In 2011 she showed the Arabian/ Fresian mare Bella, for the first time at Second Level and scored in the 70's. In 2012, Mallory will be showing several horses for her clients through Third and Fourth level. Lotte has a lifetime of equestrian experience and has been training professionally for over 10 years, with the main discipline in 3-Day Eventing. Lotte came to California from Denmark in the fall of 1988. In 2001, she started her own business "Alotte Horses Riding School and Training Stable". Lotte is a member of USEA, USEF and CDS. She was won multiple championships at the Event Derby and at VCSC, where she won both Senior Horse and Super Horse titles.

Lotte likes to show her students other ways to enjoy horses as well. In addition to working in the arena, attending clinics and shows, she broadens their horizons by taking them on trail rides, participating in western riding, attending dressage and hunter/jumper shows and the occasional fox hunt meet. She also hosts one or two clinics a year, inviting an outside professional trainer to come for the day.

Lotte adores working with children and adults and also works well with anyone who has a fear of horses. Safety is always the first priority, both for people and the horses.
