Mallory Schneider has an extensive background in dressage, jumping and eventing. As a teenager she competed heavily in jumping and eventing, and in 2007 she switched her focus towards riding dressage professionally. Mallory has been the assistant trainer to the legendary Gail Hoff-Carmona of Los Alamos Dressage Center for the past four years, in which she continues her education daily.



Mallory has her USDF bronze medal and in 2009 showed the five year old Lusitano gelding, Zambo and won the United States Dressage Federation All Breed Horse of the Year Award for Pure Andalusian and Lusitano Horses at Training Level (67.306%) and placed 2nd at First Level (64.369%). Mallory continues to compete in dressage competitions all over Southern California. In 2011 she showed the Arabian/ Fresian mare Bella, for the first time at Second Level and scored in the 70's. In 2012, Mallory will be showing several horses for her clients through Third and Fourth level. We are a full service training stable specializing in Morgans and American Saddlebreds. We offer a summer camp program, birthday parties and a Girl Scout program. We offer lessons to people from age 4 to 84.

Huckleberry Lane Farms is a full service riding school and show barn located in the Rancho Santa Fe area of San Diego, California. We are a small program which allows us to provide individualized Hunter-Jumper training tailored to our clients skills and goals. Our programs are suitable for those seeking to excel in the competition ring or simply have fun and learn about horses while enjoying the outdoors. Huckleberry Lane Farms program emphasizes strong riding skills and horsemanship in a safe, friendly environment. Ride one of our horses or bring your own! You may purchase individual lessons or one of our lesson and training packages.

We also have experience in assisting high school riders in qualifying for OCIS PE at their school which allows their riding hours to be certified as physical education credits.

Lotte has a lifetime of equestrian experience and has been training professionally for over 10 years, with the main discipline in 3-Day Eventing. Lotte came to California from Denmark in the fall of 1988. In 2001, she started her own business "Alotte Horses Riding School and Training Stable". Lotte is a member of USEA, USEF and CDS. She was won multiple championships at the Event Derby and at VCSC, where she won both Senior Horse and Super Horse titles.

Lotte likes to show her students other ways to enjoy horses as well. In addition to working in the arena, attending clinics and shows, she broadens their horizons by taking them on trail rides, participating in western riding, attending dressage and hunter/jumper shows and the occasional fox hunt meet. She also hosts one or two clinics a year, inviting an outside professional trainer to come for the day.

Lotte adores working with children and adults and also works well with anyone who has a fear of horses. Safety is always the first priority, both for people and the horses.
