Ellis House provides a great environment for beginners and horse lovers of all experience levels to participate in riding lessons. Summer camps and birthday parties are offered as well. We have a volunteer program for those who enjoy spending even more time in the barn. We offer safe horses and great instruction. We provide lessons and training for folks who want to understand their horses and to develop a relationship with their horses. We use a variety of freework, groundwork and riding, which may include obstacles.

Burny has 20+ years providing English instruction from beginners thru experienced riders who compete. Burny has experience riding and coaching at Eventing (USEA events and mini events)for past 9 years and previously competed and coached at IHJA B shows and Hunter Jumper Schooling shows.
Burny works out of her boarding facility, Spruce Lake Farm,
in Peotone Illinois. Burny is also very active in Pony Club
and Hearts and Hooves Pony Club works out of her barn.
