Four Willows Farm, LLC is a saddlebred barn that specializes in teaching the correct fundamentals of saddleseat and beginner western riding. We teach beginner to advanced saddleseat for ages six to adult. Beginner western riding lessonss available upon request. We offer a summer and winter camps. Camps are available for children and adults. Please contact us for details on camp. Adlut riders find riding to relieve stress and have a social outlet while enjoying the love of horses. We do beginner horse shows as well as showing on the World and National level.

Jennifer Townsend is the head trainer and instructor for Four Willows Farm. She has a Bachelor of Science degree in Equestrian Science from William Woods University in Fulton, Missouri. We are a english Saddleseat lesson program that specializes in working with riders of all ages and levels utilizing American Saddlebred Horses as well as other breeds. We use a variety of teaching techniques geared to helping riders meet their goals for themselves. Yoga, centered riding, visualization and good old fashioned horsemanship provide the foundation for our riding program. All riders learn safe horse handling and horse care as a part of their lesson. Fairland Farms is an eventing barn located close to the Indiana Downs racetrack in Shelbyville, very close to I-74.

We offer both Dressage and jumping lessons and place a lot of emphasis on developing a strong foundation on the flat in order to be more successful over fences. We have a very active show program starting early spring until late fall including dressage, combined tests some hunter jumper shows and lots of eventing. We pride ourselves on having an excellent team spirit and very supportive members so there's always a great atmosphere at the shows and our competitive results reflect the dedication and preperation of our horses and riders.

Fairland Farms is a beautiful facility, with a large indoor arena that is completely dust free and is ideal for winter riding. There are also lots of options for riding outdoors when the weather allows. We have two full courses of showjumps and a number of cross country fences for schooling. It is a very peaceful farm and a relaxing, happy place for horses and riders.

We have openings for two new students in the lesson program who could be possible candidates for joining our show team for 2011. Students are encouraged to trailer-in for lessons on their own horse or we also offer lessons on Fairland Farm's horses.
