Barbara Strawson is a professional dressage competitor, trainer, and instructor based in Maryland, USA. Services include full-time training and show campaigning for horses through FEI Grand Prix, along with lessons and clinics.

All children welcome here. We have 3 instructors at our facility to accomodate Beginners, Intermediate, and Advanced riders. We also hold adult lessons. We have several lessons spots available for ages 3 to 93. We have quiet, safe and sane school horses for lessons and leasing. Indoor riding arena and outdoor grass arena with jumps.

Lessons are on the following days:
Wednesday and Thursday - during the day and evening hours
Saturday and Sunday - all day

Instructor has over 20 years in the horse business; owning, training and teaching.

Located off of Accokeek Road. Convenient to Washington, Northern VA, Southern MD and PG county.

We do not require formal riding attire but ask that the student wears long pants and closed-toe shoes with a short heel. We have riding helmets to lend to you initially to minimize your expenses while you are giving this exciting sport a try.
