A family run business since 2001. We offer on site parties for birthdays and other special occasions. Our location is a beautiful country setting west of Kalamazoo in Oshtemo Township. Our packages include pony grooming, pony rides, games, a petting stable, and a party room. You can add on "The Bud Show" or cart rides. We have packages that accommodate 10 children & 10 adults to 25 children & 25 adults. Our parties are a memorable family experience. Costs range from $150-$300 (as of May 2010).

During the summer months, we offer pony and miniature horse camps for children 8 yrs and up. Camps include care, riding, in hand jumping, drill team & more.

Marta has 37 years of experience breeding, training, showing ponies and giving riding lessons. She has produced multiple champions at the county, state and national level in showmanship, horsemanship, western pleasure, western riding, trail, cowboy challenge and competitive trail riding. although I consider myself to be a laid back person, I have very high standards when it comes to the handling of the horse. Lessons are tailored to the individual's goals, be it competitive riding, or just being able to relax around a 1200 lb animal. I generally start between 10, and 15 horses per year, and while i love getting youngsters going, it is far more rewarding to be able to work continually with a horse and rider team over a longer period of time, and enjoy their progress with them. I have a 4 year old homebred Hanoverian gelding, Nicky out of my elite mare,Seesturm,by Regazzoni, who will be starting his dressage career this spring in Glass-Ed's schooling series. Willow Tree also caters to the vacation crowd, and if you and the fam want to go on a trail ride, I'm the gal. We take the safety of our guests seriously, and no one is ever sent out on the trail with a 12 year old kid as guide. I offer easy to understand instructions for every rider, and suit riders to horses based on information given, and some intuition!

True Vine is faith-based nonprofit organization that offers many equine activities. We offer riding lessons for people with special needs, able-bodied students and youth-at-risk. We also have summer camps during the month of July.

Julie Bolas is the on site instructor/trainer at Dovetail Dressage. She was certified through ARIPC Level 2 Dressage. She has shown successfully through Pre St. Georges and has started the USDF "L" judge program to further her education. She has most recently studied with Maryal Barnett, USDF "S" judge. Her emphasis is on proper riding basics and balance and creating harmony between horse and rider. Dovetail has limited schooling horses to begin your riding journey but also specializes in troubleshooting and correcting problems for more advanced riders.
