We are a Horseback Riding Academy that uses the teachings of the Cavalry to instruct future horsemen. We offer many programs including camps, lessons, homeschool programs and more!

We've been teaching lessons right here for over 30 years. Located just minutes from Rochester, Scottsville village, we offer Western riding with a focus on equitation (how you sit on a horse). We also specialize in beginner riders, but we also teach many more experienced riders as well. Lessons start at 9 yrs old but adults are also welcome to start riding too.

Ima Little Ranch is a beautiful training facility located in Hilton, NY. We offer riding lessons, training, leasing and boarding accommodations, horse sales and horse shows. We offer hour long beginner horseback trail rides on our scenic 90 acre property and hour and half long intermediate/advanced trail rides to those with previous riding experience looking for more of a challenge. Hidden Ponds is a boarding and lesson barn. We teach beginners through advanced riders, children and adults. Our main focus is Hunt Seat. We do local shows, 4-H, and also show on the Welsh Pony circuit, as well as attend several pleasure driving shows every year. We are a nonprofit riding school focusing on a classical and biomechanics foundation for horses and riders of all levels and backgrounds, including gaited horses. Offering a variety of lesson opportunities as well as other educational opportunities.

Erin M Goodney is the resident trainer of Franconia Farm in Remsen,New York.She also travels to offer her serivices. Erin has spent her entire life involved in the equine industry and has ridden under a variety of trainers to improve her riding ability. She has also spent time working under international riders and trainers. Erin has shown on the hunter and equitation curcuits from local showing to IHSA showing, A rated showing at HITS Saugerties, Lake Placid, and Syracuse. Erin has traveled to Wellington, Florida during the winter months to work in the big time show world. She has a Bachelors Degree in Animals Science with a Concentration of Equine from Suny Cobleskill. Erin gives English riding lessons to the competitive rider who wants to be involved in the show ring, or the rider who just wants to ride for the pleasure of it. She offers training that includes lessons,starting under saddle, schooling/conditioning and corrective behavior/riding vices. Erin also includes showing in her schedule and offers coaching throughout a show to her students or showing a client's horse. Erin strives to teach students to communicate with their horse in a way that allows the horse to move in their natural abilities.
