Debi Marlowe is the owner and trainer at Marlowe Show Stables.

Debi began her riding career as a Junior rider in Orange County, California in the early 1970's. Her lifetime show experience is the basis for the services she provides. Her career spans over 40 years in the hunter/jumper industry. Over these 40 years, Debi has shown in hunters, jumpers, and equitation, and has shaped new riders into successful competitors in these divisions.

A consummate horsewoman, Debi has started many promising riders, including her two daughters, Gracie and Emma Marlowe. Gracie and Emma boast numerous championships in hunters, equitation, and medals. Like their mother, they are life-long devotees of the hunter/jumper industry.

To this day, Debi's passion is developing the equitation rider and nurturing the first time rider. Marlowe Show Stables offers individualized training programs for both horses and riders. Each program is tailored specifically to fit the individual needs of each horse and rider.
Marlowe Show Stables provides hunter/jumper riding lessons for beginners and novices of all ages. Horsefeathers Lessons&Training uses classical equitation based off Xenophon's teachings. A balance of training, conditioning, and nutrition are taught. We insist on patience, reward, and working with a horse to get results. We teach students how to use hands, legs, and voice, all the time trying to fine down the aids so as to make them almost unnoticeable. The goal is to have a ride with the least amount of interference to allow the horse to perform at their best.
