We are a USHJA certified full service hunter/jumper lesson and show barn dedicated to teaching modern horsemanship skills in a quality, safe, drama free atomosphere. We are also a fully licensed equine transportation business.

Valley Equestrian Sports is a full service Hunter/Jumper training business. We are located at Shevlin Ranch in Chatsworth, CA. All ages and experience levels are welcome. We strive to develop confident riders and maintain happy, healthy horses.

We are a top notch boarding and training facility.
The instructors at the ranch have the knowledge and experience to be effective teachers, starting with beginners. We teach safety first and the care of their equine partner, always building confidence with each exercise.
Specializing in dressage, we also offer lessons in western, hunter-jumper, and saddleseat. We teach the rider to not only have a balanced seat, but to also be effective with the horse.

We are a small program which allows us to provide individualized Hunter-Jumper training tailored to our clients skills and goals. Our programs are suitable for those seeking to excel in the competition ring or simply have fun and learn about horses while enjoying the outdoors. Huckleberry Lane Farms program emphasizes strong riding skills and horsemanship in a safe, friendly environment. Ride one of our horses or bring your own! You may purchase individual lessons or one of our lesson and training packages.

We also have experience in assisting high school riders in qualifying for OCIS PE at their school which allows their riding hours to be certified as physical education credits.
