Mallory Schneider has an extensive background in dressage, jumping and eventing. As a teenager she competed heavily in jumping and eventing, and in 2007 she switched her focus towards riding dressage professionally. Mallory has been the assistant trainer to the legendary Gail Hoff-Carmona of Los Alamos Dressage Center for the past four years, in which she continues her education daily.



Mallory has her USDF bronze medal and in 2009 showed the five year old Lusitano gelding, Zambo and won the United States Dressage Federation All Breed Horse of the Year Award for Pure Andalusian and Lusitano Horses at Training Level (67.306%) and placed 2nd at First Level (64.369%). Mallory continues to compete in dressage competitions all over Southern California. In 2011 she showed the Arabian/ Fresian mare Bella, for the first time at Second Level and scored in the 70's. In 2012, Mallory will be showing several horses for her clients through Third and Fourth level. We specialize in Western Pleasure training and Natural Horsemanship for serious minded adults, amateur and youth. Our program begins with giving you the tools that bring you respect and trust with your equine partner. We teach lessons 6 days a week in our covered arena to beginners thru World Championship caliber riders. All get the same attention to safety and fun with each rider or driver striving toward their individual goal. Our horses are safe, well trained and receive excellent care. We specialize in pleasure horses (no jumping) that are a pleasure to ride. Riders of all ages and experience levels are welcome. Next to the Los Angeles Equestrian Center and adjacent to Griffith Park Trails, while it offers boarding and lessons, it is currently hiring for equestrian trainers for it's equestrian summer day camp for children. Day camp till operate through June-September, Mondays through Friday, between the hours of 8am-5pm. Silver Spur Stables is in the need of two riding instructors who will also act as day camp counselors for children ages 8-15 years.
