CHQH is an all breed boarding and training facility and we offer lessons, leasing and showing on your horse or ours. Haul ins for lessons accepted as well.

*an absolutely stunning facility, with breathtaking views and the owner will live on property. A staff that takes pride in the upkeep of the farm and the safety of all the horses in the barn and outside.
*STALLS: 10x010 and 12x12 stalls are available, most with operable windows, bars divide the stalls and line the front assuring light and proper air circulation. Each has mats and plenty of bedding for comfort.
*We have 3 riding arenas: a beautifully lighted 60 x 124 indoor with windows the length of the barn that slide open and closed, with sand and fabric footing for maximum cushion.
*2 outdoors: 1 directly off the indoor (100x100) and is lighted for evening and night rides and is rideable almost all year round. The other is 90x180. We have trail poles for ground work, trail practice, etc and a jump course for those who jump.
*We have a heated lounge and viewing room upstairs at the front of the barn for cold weather watchers or for farm gatherings.
*Just steps away from the farm you can walk or ride through the pastures and trails that lead to Cockaponset State Forest, CT 2nd largest forest with 15,000 acres of trails.
*ALL horses are turned out everyday, ALL day (as needed) from 6/7am-4/6pm (pending weather/daylight savings) in LARGE grass paddocks (about 45 of them) that are rotated to keep grass growing. There are dirt paddocks if horses can't be on grass. All paddocks have their own water so horses have full access to water outside.
