Jen attended and graduated from Johnson and Wales University in Providence Rhode Island with a Bachelor of Science in Equine Business Management and Riding with a concentration in Instruction & Training. In May 2012, Jen traveled to Germany with the University for 3 weeks of study at the Westphalian Riding School in Muenster Germany. While there, she completed a German medal testing course consisting of dressage & jumping. She studied with Phillip Dutton, Olympic Gold Medal Eventer in June 2014. X-Halt farms offer English riding lessons to all age student from beginner to advanced in Dressage and jumping. With a heavy influence in Dressage, we teach the biomechanics of riding to give students a better understanding of how to make positive and effective influences on their horses. We are a fun loving environment with a focus on safety. We attend dressage, hunter/jumper and eventing shows throughout the year at the schooling and recognized level. We also love and support our local Brazo Pony Club and attend meeting on a monthly basis. Capstone Ranch is owned by Beth Bass, who has coached at the NCAA Equestrian level for 13 years for Texas A&M University and the University of Georgia. During her coaching career, her teams earned 6 NCEA National Championships, 4 NCEA Reserve National Championships and 3 NCEA Individual National Champion Rider honors. Royal Legend provides horsemanship riding lessons. Instructor has 30 years experience of teaching, training, and showing. In 2010, one student and her horse earned a Performance Horse of the Year award. Students are not required to show, but if they choose to, they excel in the show ring. Call us!
