Debbie Bowman Dressage is located at Spyder Lake Farm, a private estate in central Virginia between the towns of Orange and Gordonsville. The facility boasts 10 stalls, lighted indoor arena with mirrors, lighted outdoor arena, turnout, and miles of groomed trails. The setting is serene and pastoral, ideal for the serious student who wishes to be able to learn in an environment with minimal distractions. Taylor is originally from North Carolina. At the age of four, she started riding horses and by age six she was doing low level barrel jackpots to compete at on weekends. Her love for horses stemmed from there and she learned everything she could from anyone and every horse she could ride or work with!

Taylor began training and colt starting around the age of fifteen with the help of her own trainer until she ventured off by herself to start training for various clients. She eventually went on to compete in and out of state state barrel racing competitions until she turned seventeen. At that point, she focused more on training and flipping horses.

Her love is not just for barrel racing, but also for pole bending, trail riding, colt starting, and restart projects! The most gratifying part of Taylor’s passion is not only helping owners/riders build confidence and skill but also their horses. Savannah Jimenez grew up in the northern Virginia area. She has grown up around horses and has been riding since before she could walk. She was finally able to begin showing at the young age of 8. Growing up, Savannah primarily rode and trained in the hunter jumpers and competing in NCEL throughout her high school years. As she grew older, her drive was unmatched and she was unable to be kept away from the barn – yearning for more knowledge in training horses in other English/Western disciplines.

Savannah has been very fortunate to have grown up with horses; therefore, she has an extensive background in teaching beginners up to intermediate level students. She feel teaching proper horsemanship, ring etiquette, and an overall solid foundation ensures future success in any discipline.

Brentsville Stables, located in Prince William County. Virginia, is a family owned and operated equestrian facility. We specialize in English riding lessons for all ages and levels, primarily focused on beginning and intermediate riders. We offer an instructional program which includes English pleasure, hunt seat equitation, and jumping. Our riders learn in 45 minute private lessons for $55 and semi private lessons for $50 a rider. Fallon is a Captain in the U.S. Air Force assigned to the Pentagon. She owns three horses and has taught lessons and led trail rides in both Arizona and Virginia.

She was the Mounted Cavalry Commander for the Virginia Tech Corps of Cadets from 2016-2018 where she led the unit to its first parade and first demonstration in over a decade. Fallon’s horse experience ranges from dressage and jumpers to western pleasure, ranch, and trail riding. She has shown hunter jumper and western Foxtrotter breed shows. She has also developed courses for mounted cavalry competitions which include mounted shooting, mounted sabers, dressage, and trail.

Sam has been riding horses for 8 years. He started taking lessons but quickly realized it was a passion for him so he began volunteering as help for riding camps. At that point he met an AQHA professional horseman and started riding under him everyday learning everything he could. Sam was one of the Top 100 youth point earners in the nation in 2018 for AQHA Western Pleasure Shows. After some time, he also started training and breaking horses for clients with his mentor’s guidance . He loves how you can learn a lot from a horse and how they responded to different ques if you’re patient and attentive.

Sam is focused in teaching all western disciplines including ranch riding, western pleasure, horsemanship, and trail patterns – which requires riders to have good communication with their horse and all parts of the horse’s body. Kelsey began riding horses when she was 6 years old, getting her first pony for her 7th birthday. She was a member of The United States Pony Club for 11 years, achieving her C3 rating.

Originally from the Upper Peninsula of Michigan, she spent her childhood traveling across the Midwest for various camps and events. Kelsey has spent many summers living with trainers and working with horses. As she grew as a rider, she began giving lessons and training horses. Kelsey worked with a therapeutic riding program for multiple years, assisting children and adults with various disabilities both on and off horses. She has taught riders of all ages about horsemanship and developing a strong foundation both in and out of the saddle.

Kelsey took over lead instructor recently and has made many positive changes to the lesson program. We look forward to seeing where she takes SES in the future!... See More

Lauren’s family got their first horses when she was 18 months old and she has been heavily involved with them since. Training under world class instructors in the U.S Pony Club, achieving her C3/HB and C3 Dressage, Lauren has trained horses from the first time being haltered to 3rd level dressage. She has experience with severely abused horses, off-the-track racehorses, top level event horses, and everything in between. Lauren has been teaching English style riding since she was a teenager and began training students in Western style in recent years. Lauren’s approach to teaching allows people to find their love of the sport through empathy, correctness, and joy. Amy Fries has over 20 years of experience training students and horses. She focuses on Hunter/Jumper training and competition.

Amy started riding at the age of 9 with “R” judge, Kathy Filmore. Amy rode with Kathy for over 10 years. During that time, Amy gained experience riding and training many different horses. She also competed at the top horse shows in Virginia.

Later, Amy attended the prestigious Westmoreland Davis Equestrian Institute in Leesburg, Virginia. In her time at Westmoreland Davis, she trained with dozens of Olympians.

Four Winds Farm is now offering public riding lessons, both english AND western, for all ages and levels of riders in a family orientated, fun and safe environment!

We offer year round lessons. Students ride once a week, but additional lessons are available. Each lesson is 1 hour. We offer three options; private lessons, semi-private lessons and group lessons (up to 6 riders) morning, afternoon, weeknight and weekend classes are available

We have both indoor and outdoor arenas, lessons are rarely canceled due to weather.

FWF has a great group of horses and ponies for our lessons! Most of them are also available to lease (half or full) depending on the horse.

Our instructors have a very wide background of knowledge and experience in hunters, jumpers, eventing, dressage, western pleasure and much more!

Enjoy and learn all aspects of the horse world, from the basics of horsemanship, such as grooming and tacking, every day care like feeding and barn management,from training to showing and so much more!

Four Winds Farm is the "host facility" for the Prince William Horse Association horse shows. We host 7 english and 7 western shows each season (usually march thru October) and we encourage our students to participate in the shows on one of our horses! There are classes for ALL levels from the Lead Line division on up!

Hard hat, pants and boots with a hard smooth sole and a heel must be worn while riding.
