German Bereiter Gabriele Hooten, USDF L and Silver medalist provides quality dressage training, instruction, boarding, clinics, and sales.Our goal is to train each horse to be obedient, light on the aids, fun to ride, and reach it's fullest potential -- whether competing successfully at horseshows, going confidently on relaxing trail rides or safely taking care of an ambitious teenager. It all depends on the owner's wishes.
And we teach our students how to have a harmonious relationship with their equine partner in the ring and on the ground in a fun, positive way. Specializing in confidence building for the rider.
We use classical dressage and natural horsemanship training in order to get the best results.
Gabriele is a Bereiter FN, a German licensed professional dressage trainer and instructor with over 30 years of experience. She has studied under some of the best German professional dressage trainers for many years, most notably Reitmaster Guenther Festerling, one of only five German Masters to have achieved the highest level of professional training.

I teach classical, balanced hunt seat equitation - beginners through advanced and all ages using my show quality lesson master horses and poinies. We fox hunt with Bedford County Hunt, compete at hunter pace competitions, and local shows where my horses and students win by using the techniques of total horsemanship I stress at all times. The horse's well being is always first.

I have my "r" in USEF Hunters and Hunter Seat Equitation and have had it for many years - so I offer my services as a judge and clinician to educate my style of riding founded in the deep classical principals of correct forward seat riding.

Lessons/training available at your home in the Augusta County area or trailer to my home to use my 100x200 riding ring, the schooling jump trail that winds through hills and woods, or the many trails for riding in the George Washington National Forest.

I have 40 years experience teaching dressage, hunt seat, Western, Eventing/Cross Country/Foxhunting and trail skills. I also teach Orienteering by horseback.

Greatness in the saddle by Skylar Evans focuses on equine nutrition, performance training in hunter jumper, English, and western and Gaited, as well as working with the unruly horse. Greatness in the saddle offers equine nutrition plans on a budget and lessons for beginners to the most experienced show riders. Beginner lessons offered with Kay and Monica focus on building a bond of love and trust between horse and rider through natural horsemanship methods taken from a variety of professional trainers and melded together into something that has been proven to work time and time again. They want you to feel confident in your riding.

One horse is available for lessons but it is preferred that you use your own horse if possible. $15 an hour.
Lessons will be given at the Catawba Equestrian Center, but they will travel to you if you have your own horse and would prefer not to move it.

Maya and Matty work together as a way to better your level of training, but when asked will work separately.

If you cannot afford the standard rates, feel free to call and discuss it. Both girls are willing to work for little to no charge after an extensive look into family backgrounds as to not be ripped off.
