Nestled on close to 250 acres in the Virginia countryside along the Rappahannock River, Tamarack Stables Rivers Edge offers a complete equestrian development program. Watch your children as they partake in lessons, send your children to riding camp, purchase registered Andalusians, or have your horse trained.
Send your child to riding day camp or to our overnight riding camp in the summer, where they will learn the fundamentals of horsemanship and stable management.
Other activities offered are birthday parties, picnics, overnighters, weekenders, gold-panning and tubing on the river -- all in the beautiful country setting of Fredericksburg, VA.
Give yourself or your child (ages 8 and older) a chance to experience horsemanship first hand. We offer riding lessons for the beginner through expert levels. Private, personalized lessons, family lessons, or group rates available. You can learn any of these styles of riding:

Hello everyone! Wanted to introduce the new and upcoming English and Western training facility in the heart of Spotslyvania Virgina. We are a work in progress but have BIG goals and need your help to get there! We have now put in our arena! Working on getting a few jumps as well to start with. Charlotte Williams is an experienced hunter/jumper/event rider currently specializing in jumpers and eventing. Her objective is to give both horses and riders a solid foundation that they can take to any equine discipline of their choosing or to just enjoy the horses to the best of their abilities.
