Do you want to learn how to ride? Do you have a horse crazy child? I have a few openings available for new students ages 7 and up. I am a qualified riding instructor with over 40 years of experience in the industry. I will teach you or your child horsemanship in a fun, relaxed, safe atmosphere. All my lessons include every aspect of horse care including proper handling skills, grooming, tacking up, feeding, veterinary and hoof care etc. Whether you would like to learn to compete or simply want to learn the proper skills to go on a safe trail ride, I can help. We are an equine center for learning that is committed to the philosophy of non-coercive horsemanship dedicated to an unconventional dominance-free approach to the horse. We do not use bits, training aids or shoes with our equine partners. As a certified riding instructor with ARIA, my lesson program emphasizes horsemanship both on and off the horse with a focus on rider biomechanics on the horse. All lessons are private and tailored to the horse and rider. Work on the ground comprises safe horse management, clicker training and positive reinforcement and their application to all aspects of work with horses, agility and liberty work. N-C Ranch is a privately run training facility specializing in Barrel Racing, training Futurity Barrel Horses, and training select youth riders for a national-level competition circuit.

Hidden Ponds is a boarding and lesson barn. We teach beginners through advanced riders, children and adults. Our main focus is Hunt Seat. We do local shows, 4-H, and also show on the Welsh Pony circuit, as well as attend several pleasure driving shows every year.
