We have created a fun, nurturing and confidence building environment where both rider and horse alike are treated with respect and kindness. Our boarding is not once size fits all but instead caters to your horse's particular needs. Equus Springs Farm offers lessons in both hunt seat and western pleasure, and are open to beginner through intermediate riders ages 5 and up. Our budget friendly lessons are designed to create a partnership between the horse and rider based on trust and understanding and effective communication. Lessons include grooming, tacking, and other ground skills, along with mounted skills. Our farm has a number of high quality school horses and ponies for all riders regardless of experience, or you may trailer in your own horse for lessons.

Any student that wishes to show may join the ESF Show Team. There is option to be a primary show rider or a pick up, show rider. ESF attends many shows year round. They participate in VHSA and AQHA shows.... See More

Our lessons for beginners include ground time, grooming and tacking instruction. Once young riders are proficient in this process, then lesson time will begin when mounted. All riders need to wear proper riding boots and a safety approved helmet. New riders must have a copy of a current medical insurance card and a signed release waiver on file. Lessons may include mounted exercises as well as theory lessons (unmounted). We ride both in and out of the ring for a well-balanced riding education. Travelling to your barn for lessons and clinics is available. Please call for rates. 24 hour cancellation notice is required.

Hello everyone! Wanted to introduce the new and upcoming English and Western training facility in the heart of Spotslyvania Virgina. We are a work in progress but have BIG goals and need your help to get there! We have now put in our arena! Working on getting a few jumps as well to start with. As of now we are offering the following:
-Ring Rental
-30/60/90 day horse training program
-Trailer your horse in for lessons
-Working students ( I have a few horses I want to use for lessons but they need some more experienced riders to work them. Lessons are free on these horses!)
