Shenanigans Farm is a family oriented riding facility that emphasizes safety, horsemanship, and fun, in a positive, professional environment. Our riding school program teaches students all aspects of horseback riding, including grooming, safety, and care of our horses.

Shenanigans Farm offers Hunter-Jumper and Dressage lessons for all ages. We have a wonderful adult program. (Many of our adults started in their 40's)!!

We also have an in-house show series for all of our riders, H/J and Dressage, wether they have been riding a month, or 10 years, there is something for everyone.

We are also an approved facility for Girl Scout outings.

Shenanigans Farm is a one of a kind facility, as we encourage our riders to participate beyond their lesson program. We have social events such as our annual Halloween Costume Parade, Hayride, and Haunted Barn. All of our families are invited to participate.

We also have special activities throughout the winter, such as customer appreciation day, Secret Santa, volunteer day, and much more. These are all hosted, in order to give our students a chance to get to know other students, as well as spend more time at our farm.

Bobbie Jo Graham is an American Riding Instructor Association certified Instructor. She teaches Level II huntseat(on the flat), western and saddleseat lessons to beginner - advanced students.

With years of experience with young, problem, English (hunter/jumpers, eventers, dressage, pleasure), Western, and trail horses; let Caroline Remus help you get your confidence back, prepare for show season, put in some training rides for fine tuning, or fix your problem horse (this includes trailering/ loading issues too!). Caroline has been teaching/ pro riding horses for the previous 5 years and has more than 15 years experience with many types of horses. Caroline can come to your farm or you can trailer in and use a private facility located in Riley, MI.

The professional staff at SMR Equestrian is committed to providing students with a safe and positive environment in which to learn and have fun. We focus on building a well-rounded horseperson by not only teaching students to ride, but also providing lessons in horsemanship, sportsmanship, and showmanship.

SMR Equestrian offers a comprehensive lesson program for children and adults (ages six and up) from beginner to advanced levels. SMR Equestrian is unique in its ability to take riders from beginning young riders to top show riders. Whether you are a beginner rider, pleasure rider, or show rider, we have a program suited for you. We have a number of quality school horses, from beginner horses to 3’ jumping horses*.

Our lesson program features small classes with no more than four riders in a lesson at a time, providing individualized quality instruction. In order to provide a safe environment that is conducive to learning, there are never more than five horses working in the arena during lesson hours.
