Brandie Heidenway is a graduate of the horse science program at MTSU and has over 20 years of teaching and training experience. I have a strong dressage background, but appreciate and teach good horsemanship that works across the disciplines. My lesson program focuses on safety for horse and rider, horsemanship, equitation, total horse care and well being, and development of the relationship between horse and rider. I firmly believe attitude is everything, attitude is contagious, and a positive attitude goes a long ways over aptitude. I teach all ages and ability levels. I have been riding horses since the age of eight years old.Also showing them as a teen.I wanted to further my education to become a true professional in the horse industry. Certification at Meredith Manor was key. I have also been fortunate to work/ride- hands on. With some of our nations greatest trainers. Competing with Reining horses on a a national level.
I consistently strive to seek more knowledge & information "Based on Fact" of this majestic animal! It never gets old. Yet,I truly feel my greatest teacher of all is THE HORSE.
My lessons come from each horse daily. Over the many years of my career. I have worked hard to understand their language. Which is very different from ours. In return, I have learned how to listen to them, yet remain the Leader. They dont mind,as long as you Earn it!
