We offer western and English horseback riding lessons to children (ages 4 & up) and adults. We can help you out with basic riding skills, groundwork, lower level dressage, driving, trail obstacles, ranch riding, young horses, and more. We have 4 safe lesson horses available to use, or you may take a lesson on your own horse. Lessons are an hour long and consist of grooming, tacking/untacking, and riding. Horse safety is incorporated into the lessons with a focus on horsemanship skills and equitation. Lessons are $30, or we offer a package of 4 lessons for $110. We have a beautiful facility on 16 acres that has a 9 stall barn, a fully enclosed indoor arena, a large, lighted outdoor arena, a lighted round pen, a hot walker, and an indoor and outdoor wash rack. My riding lessons include homework. You will start by learning all the parts of a horse, saddle and different types of tack. Then we proceed with actual riding. All styles and forms of riding are covered.

At Perfect Partner, you will learn to ride a horse with confidence and security. Beginning with the basics of position and balance, you will learn to maintain an independent seat so that you can become a true partner with your horse. You will also learn proper horsemanship from the ground up, this includes how to properly groom, saddle, and communicate with your horse. "My name is Doug Bailey and my life is devoted to the teaching of horsemanship because the nature of the horse is what rings true to me, both inside and outside the arena. Over the years I have developed training principles which are based on age-old horse handling methods. I am currently centering my training sessions around the sport of barrel racing and helping riders and horses improve their communication to produce a faster, smoother run. The goal of my training sessions is that you leave with a better understanding of how to communicate with your horse and increased confidence.
