Rainbow Hill Farm is a hidden gem 15 minutes from Katy Mills Mall. Our two trainers combine over 50 years of instructing students the correct method of riding English. Both still compete nationally and are part of the USEA Instructors Certification program. We offer lessons from beginners to advanced; dressage and jumping, on our horses or your own. We offer English & Western riding lessons & driving lessons for children & adults. Our program features four highly-trained & experienced instructors as well as 10 wonderful lesson horses. Each of our lesson mounts has been carefully selected for their kind dispositions & suitability to a varied level of riders. Private, semi-private & group lessons available.

Day camps are offered at various times throughout the year; birthday parties are available on weekends year-round, based on availability.

Our facility features a beautiful outdoor arena with a lovely sitting area, a 70 ft. round pen, a 50 ft. round pen used for beginner lessons, lovely bridle paths to enjoy time with your horse. The barn features include 32 12 x 12 stalls with automatic waterers, fly spray system, 2 tack rooms, an air-conditioned client lounge & 2 restrooms.

Laurie Jarvis

Laurie began riding at the age of 4 in San Diego, CA at one of San Diego’s Premier Hunter Jumper barns. After successfully competing in the Greater San Diego Hunter Jumper Association for more than 12 years, she began riding Dressage at the age of 16 and was lucky enough to train with two Olympic trainers for Dressage and Jumping.

At just 17 years old, Laurie qualified for her first of many Grand Prixs on her horse Allocated Spirit. She has also competed successfully up to 4th level Dressage.

With more than 28 years of riding experience and 14 years of training she believes in teaching core fundamentals. Laurie says “I believe that riding should be both fun and rewarding.
