I have been giving lessons for over 20 years and currently compete in barrel racing and train barrel horses. I help beginners along with intermediate or advanced level riders. I have helped many high school students in their rodeo events. I have horses you can use for lessons or you can bring your own. My lessons are 1 hour long and are all private lessons unless you have a friend or family member that is wanting to ride at the same time. Learn fundamentals of horse care and stable management, lungeing, ground work, and riding under a caring teacher. Jumping lesson fundamentals are taught. Experienced HJ clients are turned over to fellow trainer.

I love teaching children and have coached a young lady to a Reserve All Around Highpoint Championship at the Reichert Celebration as well as the many other High Point Awards recieved by my clients of all ages. I believe in teaching total horsemanship, from grooming and care to physiology and psychology so that you can understand not only the how, but the why a correction or movement is used. This creates more effective communication between horse and rider and leads to a rider that can think independently to correct issues as they occur rather than waiting for a trainer to give instructions.
