We offer horse training for starting young horses under saddle to polishing your mature horse for show. We accept "problem" horses. We have experience working with a wide array of breeds. Lunge work is utilized for horses to develop correct muscular structure and to alleviate resistance.

We offer quality, individualized, private riding instruction on your horse or one of ours. Lease horses sometimes available. Will travel to your place or you may haul your horse in for training and lessons. Lunge work is utilized for the student to achieve an independent seat, legs, and hands for improved coordination, effectiveness of aids, and safety.

We have horses available for sale in various price ranges, experience levels, and athletic capabilities.

All of our hunter jumper horses and riders are taught the fundamentals of dressage.

We offer horse boarding to clients at the scenic Sunset Stables. We offer hunter/jumper training from the beginning rider to the most advanced rider. We are a goal-oriented barn which prepares you for the horse show circuits.

Training: If you have a horse that needs to be trained to go under saddle, needs a little more finish, better manners, better headset, etc, please contact me. I use Parelli Natural horsemanship techniques and do lots of ground work to get them to accept people as leaders! I teach the horse to respect you as a rider and to engage it’s hindquarters, and to have better flexion and softness. I do round pen work, arena work, and also trail work, mostly w a western saddle. I think a horse to needs be de-sensitized to many environments. I also have a lot of experience with endurance riding, and have an excellent endurance completion record and a lot of knowledge to share about how to successfully get through an endurance ride! I have 22 years of experience with showing, breaking, finishing, cart training, lessons, maintenance, show preparation; basically everything horse related. I work mostly with Quarter Horses, Paints, and other stock horses but have and love to work with Arabs, Morgans, T. Walkers, etc. Showed AQHA nationally and won many national and state titles.
