Horseback Riding in Canon City, Colorado (Fremont County)

Learn to ride or advance your skills with our highly successful and educational horseback riding programs. We offer group, semi-private, and private lessons.  You can saddle up and ride one of our lesson horses or bring your own. We stress balanced riding which is beneficial in both western and english.

Our instructors are enthusiastic and make the lessons fun and informative. Special activities are planned to make the learning process exciting while you learn about horses, riding, and most of all, how to be safe and comfortable around horses. Our instructors take advantage of our grounds and Chatfield State Park in various stages of our lessons.

We are also expanding our riding lesson program! Equestro offers lessons for beginners through advanced riders in english, western, jumping, and dressage. You can ride our horses or trailer in your own. Cost is $35 per hour. Students learn all the basics of horse care, tacking, grooming, and riding with a focus on safety and self-sufficiency....
