North Star Stables is an inclusive riding facility offering riding lessons for people of all abilities. Instructor Teresa Pilegaard teaches with a foundation of classical dressage and focuses on adapting her teaching style to the needs of each individual rider. A PATH International IT, Teresa constantly pursues excellence in her riding and instructing.

Riding lessons are available for students age 2 - adult. Therapeutic riding lessons are available to students age 4 and up.

Brentsville Stables, located in Prince William County. Virginia, is a family owned and operated equestrian facility. We specialize in English riding lessons for all ages and levels, primarily focused on beginning and intermediate riders. Kim Yotko is an A.R.I.A. certified instructor in both Hunt Seat and Dressage. She has been teaching since 1976 on our own quality horses and ponies. Kim has quite a comprehensive background in riding. As a junior she rode at the esteemed Jane Dillon's Junior Equitation School, as well as being a member of the United States Pony Club. More recently, Kim Has received further Dressage training in Germany, Portugal, and Spain under the tutelage of world class instructors and Olympians. Kelsey has competed her 2 horses from their first event to the CCI* and intermediate levels. She also has experience in dressage, jumpers, 4H, and polocrosse. Kelsey takes students to local horse trials and 4H shows, including the state 4H Championships. She can travel and accommodates trailer ins (has a nice set of show jumps and a handful of XC fences on her farm, with a dressage ring in the works).
