Full service equestrian education program offering complete rider education in all disciplines (hunt seat/jumping, dressage, saddle seat, side saddle, western, performance events, et cetera). We offer education programs tailored to intermediate through advanced riders. By using our "Be A Winner" teaching philosophy, we encourage riders to become a winning team with their horse no matter if they are on the trail, in the practice ring, or in the show pen.

Founded in 1991, we have dedicated our lives to learning and educating others in their equestrian pursuits. We not only have the practical experience from our own time in the saddle and from teaching over 3,000 people to ride, but we also have the professional, collegiate, and graduate school education to provide each of our riders with the most well-rounded education that they can receive from any lesson program.

We also offer clinics and seminars throughout the globe, on a variety of equine/equestrian related topics, and are the leader in educating other instructors to be better educators when it comes to their students. When riding instructors need assistance in improving their skills they come to us for their continuing education. I have been riding horses since the age of eight years old.Also showing them as a teen.I wanted to further my education to become a true professional in the horse industry. Certification at Meredith Manor was key. I have also been fortunate to work/ride- hands on. With some of our nations greatest trainers. Competing with Reining horses on a a national level.
I consistently strive to seek more knowledge & information "Based on Fact" of this majestic animal! It never gets old. Yet,I truly feel my greatest teacher of all is THE HORSE.
My lessons come from each horse daily. Over the many years of my career. I have worked hard to understand their language. Which is very different from ours. In return, I have learned how to listen to them, yet remain the Leader. They dont mind,as long as you Earn it!

Brandie Heidenway is a graduate of the horse science program at MTSU and has over 20 years of teaching and training experience. I have a strong dressage background, but appreciate and teach good horsemanship that works across the disciplines. My lesson program focuses on safety for horse and rider, horsemanship, equitation, total horse care and well being, and development of the relationship between horse and rider. I firmly believe attitude is everything, attitude is contagious, and a positive attitude goes a long ways over aptitude. I teach all ages and ability levels. At Blue Point Stables, LLC we instruct riding lessons 6 days a week, all year long, when we are not otherwise engaged at a Horse Show for our clients.

Brandy McDonnell is our Chief Riding Instructor. Brandy has more than 30 years of riding experience. Brandy is a certified "Master Instructor" from the Certified Horsemanship Association, allowing her to certify riders from beginning levels to the highest level of either English or Western style riding. The C.H.A. is one of the top leading certifying organizations for equine instructors. Brandy holds a lifetime membership in the C.H.A. as well as a lifetime membership with the American Quarter Horse Association (A.Q.H.A.).

Blue Point Stables, LLC, currently, and for years, has developed a very upbeat, strong and energetic Interscholastic Equestrian Association (I.E.A.) Show Team. The I.E.A. is for grades 4th through 12th. As of the 2019-2020 Season, we believe that we have one of the largest teams, if not the largest team, in East Tennessee.

We offer equine stable boarding and pasture boarding, at market value rates, for those clients that are looking for a trusted, established stables that caters to each equine with enhanced service and love.

At Sunnyside Stables, we offer riding lessons to riders of all ages, disciplines both english (on the flat and over fences) and western, and skill levels. We are very beginner friendly for both children and adult riders! Come learn on your horse or ours. Here you will learn various skills on the ground and under saddle to become a well rounded, safe, and confident equestrian while having fun and achieving your goals.
