Originally a dairy farm owned by Ned & Mallie Pugh, this property was a successful dairy farm from 1956 to 1979. After that, the Pughs raised beef cattle on the property until 1998 when Ken Anderson bought the Pughs out of the cattle business. With the area's fine hay production,
it was a dream of Ken's (who is also a hay producer), to open a riding stable second to none. Now his
dream has been realized, and he has already hosted
trail rides and parties for
Arlington's
Halloween and Easter rides as well as
camp outs offer Golden Gaits riders a weekend
of fun and adventure as children 6-16 spend
time with their horses in this wonderous area.
