Our mission, as a boarding farm, is to provide your horse with individualized care that's based upon your specifications. We take pride in giving "whole-horse" care and do so by providing consistency with the flexibility to adapt quickly if necessary and we treat your horse with as much attention and affection as we do our own! Our experienced staff know how important top-notch care is for your horse's well-being and for your peace-of-mind too!

The training program at SHF specializes in getting you and your horse ready for the show ring. However, we are just as happy and prepared to work with pleasure horses and riders for those of you that are not interested in competing. Our trainer believes that by working closely with you and your horse, a seamless team of two will be created. SHF also utilizes a strong but nurturing approach that begins by creating trust between trainer, horse and rider. This method helps you achieve a partnership with your horse that gives you the basis for great success in all of your endeavors!

We offer instruction for adults and children on all levels. And, as such, the beginner, intermediate and advanced students will gain knowledge and form from our experienced and patient Instructor. She will work with each rider to develop a program that's geared toward their specific area of interest.
