Let my over 40 years of horse owning & riding experience help you learn all about horses, care, and riding. I teach good old- fashioned horsemanship skills. I do not teach what I call "spur-manship". (Spurs have their legitimate uses.In my opinion they belong only in higher levels. Rarely justified for beginner horses or beginner riders.) I specialize in teaching beginners. It is such a joy to teach them the art of proper riding! We try hard to find & match the right type of horse for each of our students. In this way you can learn the most, be the safest, and truly enjoy your time on horseback. Currently accepting new students. Call now to tour our farm or get on our waiting list! Reasonable rates. Some working student or working parent openings as well ! (Handy parents/adults who are good with tools, extra fencing, or building projects like shelters are needed.) Instructor will come to some Ingham County locations! We often have priviliges to teach at other stables in Okemos, Mason, Haslett,or Williamston.
