Lindsay has been riding for 16 years and showed competitively in children's and junior hunters as well numerous equitation and medal championships under the training and instruction of Carol Fulton. In 1999 she won the Greater Oklahoma Equitation Medal. She also was recognized as Best Child Rider both at the AHSA Zone 7 Finals as well as at the Estes Park Hunter Jumper Festival. In 2000 she was named as the Oklahoma Hunter Jumper Association Equitation Champion.
In college, Lindsay became a top competitor for the Oklahoma State Varsity Equestrian Team, representing the school nationally. During all four years on the OSU Equestrian Team, Lindsay received a Varsity Athletic Scholarship and was on the Commissioners Honor Roll for Big VII Athletics. In the show ring, Lindsay won many titles including High Point Rider. Individually, she qualified all four years for regional and zone championships, ranking top 3 in flat and over fences divisions while also accumulating winning points for the team. In 2005, Lindsay was voted MVP by her teammates, an honor to be chosen for her hard work and dedication.
As a graduate of Oklahoma State University, Lindsay is an accomplished interior designer and takes pride in being a self-motivated, dependable person. Her background and experience with horses has become her passion, which she enjoys passing on to others. Students will learn basic horse care and knowledge, as well as correct terms and techniques for English riding. All brushes and tack are provided for school horses. An assortment of helmets and paddock boots are available as well, but having your own riding approved shoe with a heel is recommended so that they fit properly. Tennis shoes are not considered riding apparel.
Along with teaching riding lessons, Lindsay offers a training program for young horses or horses who need a few tune up rides. Monthly packages or by-the-ride pricing is available.
