I am a MA Licensed instructor with over 25 years experience training horses and riders. I am based here at Emerald Farm with safe, sane school horses available for those who do not have a horse or who are just beginning.

test My primary focus is on safety for horse and rider. I use my background in Dressage to provide a stronger knowledge base for students who wish to ride over fences. I have a motivational approach to training so both horse & rider develop the confidence along with the skills to advance the rider's knowledge of horsemanship.

Of course, I am not only a teacher, but also a student. I continue to expand my knowledge of riding and equine behavior, training, nutrition & health by attending seminars and clinics with top instructors and through volunteer work at Tufts University Large Animal Hospital.
