Bluegrass Riding Academy / Riding Instructor in Lexington, Kentucky

BGRA offers affordable private and group English riding lessons for all ages and levels of riders. Riders may choose to show horses at local horse shows or academy horse shows or to ride for the sheer pleasure of riding horses. The academy offers "Equicise" a unique and "first of its kind" fitness program where riders ride several times per week completing an aerobic exercise program on horseback. BGRA offers both day and residential camps combining group and private lessons with a unique twist. Campers learn to care for horses while learning about horse feeding and nutrition, horse health, lameness, conformation, anatomy, horse behavior and management all taught by a Ph.D. in Equine Sciences. Campers visit famous horse farms & other equine attractions near Lexington.
