I am a dependable licensed, Certified Master Farrier, having been so for 25+ years. 20 of those years of experience were spent specializing in movement improvement and lameness work. I received much knowledge and hands on training with lameness and race horses through Dr. Alex Harthill, DVM, who himself paddocked approx. 37 KY Derby winners and was a well known lameness specialist until his death. My acquired lameness knowlege I owe directly to Dr. Alex Harthill and many others and will forever be in their debt for the training they gave me as it has helped me on my journey to becoming the best Farrier my clients could ask for.

Perhaps you can read about those who were not able to place at any shows due to incorrect movement or lameness, like this filly, who had chronic lameness issues. Her owners spent five thousand dollars with Veterinarians in less than three months, unsucessfuly. After my work she won the N.C. Futurity; selling that week for $50,000. She went on to receive her AQHA R.O.M as well as her Superior Championship and sold overseas for $150,000 that same year, and then became Italy's leading western pleasure winner.
