Stephanie Blockley - Clarke has been a well respected, successful instructor, trainer, competitor for over 35 years. Receiving her initial foundation in Dressage from Dietrich von Hopffgarten for a number of years, she has always continued her education with teachers of high calibre such as Olympic judge Linda Zang She is currently hosting and participating in clinics at Meadowgate with Jeremy Steinberg and Wolfgang Scherzer. From Training level to FEI levels, Stephanie has school horses able to teach you the feel of the levels to which you aspire. All breeds are welcome for training, from proper groundwork training as yearlings on up. Novices with the desire to investigate their interest in dressage are welcome to come for lessons on their own horse or use a school horse in Meadowgate's kind, no pressure environment. Stephanie has been teaching riders the enjoyment of learning correct riding skills since the 1970's. She is currently bringing along training horses up the through the levels to FEI, as she has been doing for over 35 years. Whether you have never ridden a horse in your life or it has just been years, you will enjoy learning from Stephanie.

Located just off of Interstate 5 at exit 215, Stephanie Blockley - Clarke Dressage at Meadowgate offers a low key, friendly environment with competent, highly experienced staff for the care of your horse.

Meadowgate's 60 acre facility is unequaled in it's variety of options of mud free individual turnout pen, paddock, and pasture options, which is something that is increasingly difficult to find these days.

The very tall heritage barn with its great light and air offers extra large stalls, bright wash rack, 5 crosstie tack up stalls, indoor walking area for inclement weather, on-site laundry service.

Trails abound just outside the back gate, there is a bridle trail around the farm as well.

The covered 70ft x 200 ft arena surrounded by covered 15 ft aisleway has an adjacent outdoor 70ft x 200ft arena. Both arenas have sand and rubber footing that is diligently maintained personally by Stephanie to a very high standard. The arenas are available for haul - in usage by prior arrangement - $15/time or $80/ month unlimited.

Horses have individualized feeding and turnout programs. There is a late evening barn check by onsite staff.

Alyssa Pagon Pitts is a successful and active FEI trainer and competitor who is on the USEF Developing list. She is also a USDF L judge program graduate with distinction and USEF "r" judge candidate.

A self-made rider and trainer, Alyssa has gained a reputation for good horsemanship and skillful riding by achieving repeated successes with many different horses. Notably, she has taken some very difficult "problem" horses and turned them into very successful and competitive show horses. Alyssa is also very adept in training and bringing along green horses.

Alyssa is a serious and dedicated trainer and rider with high aspirations. Horses trained by Alyssa have a high degree of rideability while also being developed to the best of their athletic abilities. Alyssa is also a sought after instructor and clinician with a positive approach to teaching. Her students have been very successful in the show ring as well as in their relationships with their horses. Alyssa has coached several CDS Junior Champions and her students have also been quite successful at the CDS/USDF Championships.

Although Alyssa enjoys showing and competing, it is not the be all, end all of her training and her focus. She takes pride in developing horses and riders, regardless of their competitive aspirations. Beginners through advanced riders are welcome, and AP Dressage does offer lessons on school horses for those without horses. Horses of all levels and breeds are welcome as well.

Alyssa has been influenced by many trainers and schools of thought; in particular, she would like to give special mention to Randy Leighton. Randy's lessons have been countless and powerful, and they define Alyssa's approach to horses. It is a system that is based on timing and feel and that treats each horse as an individual and partner. She clinics regularly with piaffe/passage specialist Alfredo Hernandez, and she also tries to clinic on a regular basis with Steffen Peters. She has taken clinics with Debbie McDonald, Heike Kemmer, Arthur Kottas-Heldenberg, and FEI "O" judge Axel Steiner.

Alyssa trains and teaches out of Cedar Meadow Farm located in Echo Lake, between Snohomish and Woodinville. The facility is within easy driving distance of the greater Seattle area, Bellevue, Redmond, Woodinville, Snohomish, Monroe, etc. The quality facilities include arenas and footing designed and installed by footing specialist, Mark Rowley. There is a covered arena with mirrors and lights, and a huge, literally all weather outdoor arena that easily contains a standard dressage court. There is also a round pen for lungeing. I am a USDF certified riding instructor who has ridden with many of the most respected names in the dressage world. While being certified by the Morven Park International Equestrian Institute in 1971, Jim studied with Major Joseph Lynch, the 1968 US Olympic Team coach, and Jimmy Wofford, one of that team's riders.
Since that time I have pursued excellence in dressage, studying with Hans Möeller and Hans Handler of the Spanish Riding School, Charles DeKunffy, Hilda Guerney, Dominique Barbier, Natalie Lamping, Tom Poulin, Michael Handler, Lilo Fore, Sonja Vracko and many other respected and accomplished clinicians. Jim has also had the opportunity to attend clinics where he learned from Reiner Klimke, Robert Dover, Christine Stüeckelberger and Gustav Nableaus, former president of the FEI dressage committee. I work well with all levels of riders. In addition to 30-plus years of teaching private and group lessons, he has taught 4-H groups, pony club, community college courses in Texas and Illinois and college courses at Prescott College in Arizona and Seattle University in Washington.

MEGHAN MARKHAM of M&M DRESSAGE offers several different programs that focus on the correct training of both horse and rider. She has been teaching riders and training horses for the last 14 years with her main focus on dressage training and competing. Meghan enjoys working with all levels, from beginner to advanced, while using a variety of training methods. Some of these methods range from a regular lesson program to concentrated training programs. She understands how important it is to train each horse & rider based on their physical and mental capabilities. The horse's health and well-being as an individual is her number one priority. Her programs produce horses with solid technical abilities and students who know how to ride correctly handling a variety of training situations. All her students learn to 'really' ride and work their horses in-and-out of the show arena.
Meghan is dedicated to always improving herself and becoming the best rider, teacher and trainer possible. She is a USDF Bronze and Silver Medalist and a successful FEI competitor. She currently competes several of her own horses and horses owned by clients.
