Indigo Road is a full-service hunter/jumper training and show stable located in Greer, right outside Greenville SC.

Minutes from downtown Greenville SC, Indigo Road is on 25 rolling acres in Greenville County. Convenient to Greenville, Spartanburg, Greer, Landrum and Tryon and a short drive from the Greenville Spartanburg Airport and BMW we offer limited and private boarding concentrating on specialized care and attention to detail as well as training for the horse and riding lessons. Our business centers on hunters, equitation and jumpers, in hand with lower level dressage flatwork to create a well-rounded mount.

We have something for everyone, school horses and ponies suited to meet the needs of all levels of riders. Whether you are an avid competitive rider or just riding for fun and love horses, Indigo Road caters to a range of riders from those who are learning the basics through experienced riders wishing to improve their hunter riding skills or equitation, train green horses and show at the local and regional levels at both rated and un-rated shows.

Kelly Carr offers starting, problem solving, training and lessons for horses of all breeds and disciplines. Horses in training with Kelly will not only develop the skill to carry themselves and move properly, but every horse is guaranteed to come home with impeccable ground manners. Kelly values horses that are gentle and enjoyable to handle. She will work with your horse in a gentle and patient manner to resolve issues like girthiness, pawing, bolting, bucking, rearing, rushing, not standing still, not lifting hooves, pushiness, and everything in between. Her training program lays a solid foundation on the ground for every skill that is then taught under saddle in order to build the horse's confidence and versatility. Madison K Brown, head trainer and barn manager at Garnet Hill Farm, has a select few openings for new students and training horses. With an emphasis on proper horsemanship, development, and equitation, Madison seeks to bring out the very best in each horse and rider in her program.

Madiosn has over 15 years of experience in the hunter/jumper world, with specific expertise in green horses, pony hunters, junior and adult equitation, and collegiate riding. She has ridden with some of the biggest and the best in the country, competed through the "A"/"AA" circuit, and been a member of an NCAA Division I equestrian team. Madison has the expertise, drive, and style to take you and your horse to the top.

Lessons are available to riders ages 5+ in the disciplines of hunters, jumpers, and equitation. We do have a limited number of school horses and ponies available for students who do not have their own mount, or will happily help you find the perfect match to buy or lease! Students who have their own horses are welcome to board with us at Garnet Hill, or ship in.

Training is available as well, for horses of all experience levels from starting to showing. We have individualized programs and very competitive rates.
