Harper Farms is a horse boarding facility located near Tuscaloosa, Alabama eight minutes from The University of ALabama. Harper Farms is a well-kept, family friendly facility. Lots of areas to ride in, including an arena. Full Horse Boarding Fee is $350.00 per month-fed twice per day hay and feed, fed in stalls which have automatic water system, stalls-cleaned on regular basis, horses are let out at owner’s request. Plenty of grass and hay.

Our seven year old barn has electricity, running water, secure tack storage, feed room, lighted and covered hay storage, PJ the barn mouser, and wash rack. We offer free trailer storage and have a lighted round pen. We recently renovated an older motorhome and parked it near the barn for your convenience if you need to watch a sick or injured horse, or if you just want to spend the night for whatever reason. It's a great place to get warm/cool and chat or rest. We have a fenced picnic area also for those long days at the barn. There is plenty of room to ride and train. Stalls have rubber mats, lights with timers to ensure those slick hair coats year round, fans, and a fly misting system. Hot water wash stall, coastal bermuda hay and premium grain fed twice daily, large stalls, customized turnout in multiple pastures to meet your needs, day or night on lush established pastures. Rye grass planted in winter for winter grazing. Riding arena with sand footing which drains quickly, as well as trails. Tack room with dehumidifier. Daily Blanketing as weather requires. Horses are fly sprayed daily before turnout. Primary discipline is Reining, Western Dressage & Ranch Riding, but all are welcome. You will find a fancier barn, but you will not find better care.
