Your horse will be treated as if it were ours. This facility is family owned, and operated. We live on site. Full care boarding at Little K Acres available! We feed twice a day. Feed is included in the boarding price. $275 for full care
OUR FACILITY:
We have 25 acres of pasture to ride on with lit arena and round pen. We have 15 stalls. Our land has divided pastures with several shelters. Trailer parking is available in a secured locked area. There is no traffic around the horses. There are also several water troughs with automatic fillers. We have a locked premises. There is also a barn with large tack room available.
Services we offer: Horse riding lessons, horse training, host birthday parties with small petting zoo and horse rides, horse camps, daily grooming, daily lunging available.

Julie has been teaching horseback riding for over 25 years right here in Arlington, Texas to riders of every age and skill set. She has personally trained all of her horses, each of them tailored to meet the
needs of an advancing rider. Whether the student wishes to practice dressage, hunter jumper,
jumping, or just simply go for a trail ride, a well behaved and prepared horse is available. Julie's great breadth of experience with riders young and old has helped propel several of her students to decorated careers in their equestrian pursuits. Dressage being her personal passion, she has been training and competitive in the sport for over 35 years. Working with top level international trainers and having placed in third level dressage competitions, it is hard to imagine a more qualified instructor. Helping the rider become one with the horse and using your body to facilitate the movements are the core values she tries to instill in each of her students. Her services are available for lessons on a weekly or bi-weekly basis, and she also has ponies that work great for birthday parties.

All of her lessons are conducted onsite at her facility in Arlington, Texas. She has barrels, cones, jumps and lights (for night time riding during the summer) on 3 acres right in South Arlington near Stovall Park. The property is shaded, but not wooded enough to cause problems when riding. She also has a large barn with stalls and a wash rack for the horses.

We are a full care facility that prides itself on the care that we give to each individual horse. We take care of each like they are our own. Quiet facility that offers a large arena, round pen, quality coastal hay, we feed an assortment of Bluebonnet grains depending on your horses needs. We live on site for security. Feed (12% Protein/5%Fat) and Alfalfa flakes provided twice daily. Free choice Coastal Hay (square bales) is available all day. We follow Dr. Getty's recommendations on forage for optimum health.

We are 5 minutes from James Booth Cow Horses. There is quick access to I-20, HWY 1187 and I-35W. Easily serving Kennedale, Arlington, Mansfield, Ft. Worth, Burleson, Pantego.

We are too far south to serve Keller, Bedford, Watugua or North Tarrant County due to the freeway systems and traffic.

There are three (3) excellent veterinary providers within minutes of our barn.

Reliable, local Farrier.

Boarders are welcome to use any provider with whom they already contract. We do not restrict these relationships.

Horses without proof of current negative Coggins will not be admitted to the property.

We cannot accommodate Stallions, Pregnant Mares, Yearlings or Untrained horses. We handle the horses daily in group settings, they must be civilized to be here.

Round About Stables is a full-service equestrian facility located 25 minutes south of Downtown Dallas in Cedar Hill. We offer riding lessons and training for all levels of riders and horses, guided trail rides, and full-care pasture board. Horses live in horse-safe, shaded pastures in herds of no more than 4. All horses are fed 2x daily, and have free-choice access to quailty costal hay. Brief history on this horse is I owned her from 4 months to two years old when I had to sell her due to a car accident. Just recently acquired her again at 4 years of age, sent her off to a trainer and has been there for the past two months. She has done great as far as learning the basics. While at the trainers she has been used for penning cattle, roping and basic trail riding. She has been exposed to all types of scenarios and is pretty much been desensitized. She has only been ridden western while at the trainer but was ridden English with the previous owner. He has also only used a hackamore on her, no bit. He has been working with her because she has demonstrated that she may be a cold back horse. This is a newly built barn with 10 foot overhang when horse is in run so access to shade or shelter. We also have sheds in all pastures. Barn family has no drama, and we have 3 farriers who come to farm, or bring your own. I have raised horses for 50 years and treat all our animals as if they are our own. Our boarders do trail rides in our area, as well as haul to nearby large areas to ride.

I have experience with several different breeds of horses: friesians, quarter horses, thoroughbreds, Arabians, Tennessee walkers, cross breeds. I give lessons at round about stables. I offer beginner to advanced lessons, in basic riding, being a good leader, etc. I also offer coaching for you and your barrel horse or just in general ie you and your horses relationship, working with your leadership skills, understanding your horse better, bonding exercises, etc. I offer tune ups and exercise programs on all ages and breeds of horses and I travel to you or you can board here at round about stables. I offer some basic training programs which include ground manners, behavioral problems, starting a horse in the saddle or on the ground, etc. I do western and english. I compete in barrels and will start competing in show jumping this summer. I train my own horses and take a few English lessons from another instructor at round about. I also offer feeding/grooming/care for your horses or dogs, whatever, while you are out of town or just need/want help. I will begin to be available when I come home from college on May 7. I also have some experience with wild/untamed horses. I train quietly and use a type of natural horse method, I listen and try to understand the horse best I can and am not quick to anger. I don't use force but am a firm confident leader that horses seem to appreciate.
