Our Ranch offers horse boarding and horse care for a few special horses.
Our horses enjoy the natural setting of the ranch and are allowed to
socialize with other horses in a pasture setting which is closer to their
natural state and is better on their emotional make-up. We do not lock our
horses away in stalls, but believe horses should be allowed to choose to
graze out in the open or have the option to rest under shelter.

We have a 21 stall barn, or for the person that prefers their horse to be outside, we have 9 independent barns with paddocks. There are two large arenas, both have lights for riding in the evening, one round pen and a parcel of land with a jump ring, dressage arena, small cross country fences and bridle paths for trail riding.

The Jump Field, has a grove of old oak trees and pecan trees at it's north end and is a great place to take a leisurely walk with your horse. There is also a bridle path, provided for our boarders and their horses, off to the east side accessible by a passageway built under Jupiter Road. We are very excited to welcome you to our facility and be able to share it with you. Lucky Star Farm was founded in 2021, but our dream for a barn of our own, started a long time before that. Your horse will be cared for just like we want our horses to be cared for. Our goal is to provide an environment that allows you and your horse to excel.

Full care board includes:

Feeding good quality coastal hay up to four times daily
Triple Crown grain fed twice daily, and tailored to individual needs
Two water buckets in every stall
Deeply bedded stalls with shavings
Stalls cleaned twice daily when inside
Feed through fly control in spring, summer and fall
Blanketing as appropriate for individual horse and weather conditions
Daily turn out in individual or small group paddocks (weather permitting)

Berndt has managed riding stables for over 35 years.

Custom Built, Large Full Care 20 stall barn. 14 x 14 stalls w/runs. Full Care Stalls $705 to $750 a month. We feed Nutrena Safe Choice Feeds and clean coastal or alfalfa hay 2X daily. We feed on a set schedule to keep your horse healthy and happy. Insulated from the cold and heat. Both barns have automatic waterers (from well water so your horse isn't drinking chemical filled city water), rollout feeders, windows.
Covered 100’x100’ arena under roof with the main barn. Lighted 125 x 250 arena w/ custom mixed sand (never packs, always moist), stock, washrack (hot water), 3 roundpens (1- 60' sand and 1-50’ & 1-40' grass). Pasture turnout 5 days a week, hot walker exercise, individual feed programs for each horse. Free Trailer parking 1st trailer . Free seasonal blanketing. We worm every 2 months.
