Dover Stables is a family friendly, drama free indoor/outdoor horse boarding facility. All horses and riding styles are welcome.

We are on 56 acres with a stable, an indoor arena (60 x 200)with heated viewing room, a 100 x 200 sand based and lighted outdoor arena and a 3 acre, 23 foot deep pond with a beach, great for swimming alone or with your horse! Also great fishing-bluegills, bass, crappies...We also have a 5/8 of a mile track with a groomed limestone base that is fun to ride at full gallop or at a leisurely stroll around at dusk.

The stable has 40 matted stalls (12 x 12 and each one has a window), 3 over-sized "birthing" stalls also with windows. Also 8 of the stalls have doors for direct turnout in to the paddocks. There are 4 wash stations w/ hot and cold water, a laundry room, lounge with kitchenette with WIFI and 4 tack rooms.

We currently have 10 small pastures (1/2 to 1 acre), 2 large pastures (10 acres each), 4 dry lots and 2 round pens. The pastures have shelters and auto waterers.
We feed high quality hay "on demand" so the horses have hay in front of them all of the time. We feed grain morning and night to the indoor board horses and morning only to the outdoor boarders. Up to 3 pounds per day of Kalm & Easy is included in the board.

Our outdoor board is $325 per month and indoor is $500-includes daily turn out weather permitting.

Four Winds is situated on 80 beautiful acres adjacent to Richard Bong Recreation Area with its 13 miles of groomed horse trails. If there isn't time for a trail ride through Bong, take advantage of the 2 mile bridle path that runs the perimeter of the property.

The facility, built in 2001, includes indoor (90'x165') and outdoor (100'x200') riding arenas, 60' round pen, 15 grass pastures, 8 winter pastures, hot water wash-rack and much more. For the comfort of the boarders and visitors, the clubhouse offers a large heated viewing area, lounge, big screen satellite TV with Blu-Ray DVD and full kitchen facilities. At Spring Willow Farm we offer our equine guests the kind of care we searched for years ago, while taking our horses from barn...to barn...to barn. There's all-day, 7-day, turnout on spacious, grassy 5+ acre pastures.We live here too, and that means you'’re welcome to ride at any time that suits your schedule - in the 10,000 sf heated indoor or large outdoor ring, or on private bridle trails through our 100 acres of woods, prairie, ponds, wetlands and fields.

With a maximum of 25 horses boarding, we have a small clientele who are virtually all adults, allowing you to have plenty of room to yourself, and to better focus on developing your skills. We accept all disciplines, but most of our clients are of the hunter discipline. Our, trainer is available Mondays, Thursdays and Saturdays. Some of our boarders participate in lower and mid-level local shows.

We are active horse enthusiasts who own our own facility. Our horses enjoy lush pasture in the summer and dry lots with limestoned run in sheds when not on pasture. At night and during inclement weather our horses enjoy large matted stalls with wall mounted slow feed hay nets. Blankets, when needed, are donned for outdoor turnout as our barn is heated.

To ensure the quality of our feed program we work with an equine nutritionist and source our hay off our own fields. Our fields and pastures are maintained and fertilizing based of needs derived from hay crop analysis reports.

We enjoy a well kept facility with indoor and large outdoor, tackroom, feed room and indoor washstall with hot water. Above all we enjoy the peace and tranquility found in a drama free private facility.

We maintain herd cohesion within our herd via small group turnout. Outside trainers with proof of trainers insurance are welcome.
